Most times it will re-start the light but never" "They've given many explanations of why/how the problem occurs, none qualify for a positive answer that the problem won't happen again, because it DOES! Bad part is, it never happens at their quarters. "On two occasions the screen and radio stopped working" I would have to leave car at dealership for a few days to have it ck out and due to distance I was unable to do so. "display screen goes blank, cannot adjust radio, rear camera also goes blank. Will buy and aftermarket camera someday when the vehicle is less new and change it myself." Dealership said its most likely a bad camera and I'm not paying $200 + labor to diagnose or fix it. "The display for the backup camera is too dark to be of use in the daytime and cannot be adjusted. ![]() "The screen will get stuck on the backup camera when shifting from reverse to drive then it will go blank and you have no access to any of the functions plus it disables the ability to charge my phone on the auxiliary cord" The system goes to sleep and blank and does not come back on for several hours or days. "Screen would not show proper temperature and froze on the backup camera screen - replaced unit" "dash lights go dark intermittent and randomly" and since its a safety issue could even be a recall issue" if they need tondo software updates because or oversight on there end it should be covered by them. they want to replace the radio at my cost $1400.00 un except-able. it is also tied to the radio freezing up and temperature change control freezing. "it is a safety issue that GM is aware of and won't cover the cost of. GM fixed the software in 2015 but upgrading to 2015 edition in VOLT screwed up buttons on centerstack. After shutting them off, two weeks later they reset back to ON. I am constantly getting the alerts that I shut off. A software upgrade fixed teh back-up cameras, but GM was NEVER able to fix the weater reports. "The back-up cameras and the Weater reports were problamtic. I figure on not taking it to dealer until problem gets worse." Now due to Covid 19 we are barely using vehicle so not sure of how bad it is now. Then it started working and only once in a while messes up. First once every 2 weeks then several times in a row. I read online may be wiring/connection issue.
